Song of the Siren part oneThe thunder rolled, reverberating through the stone corridors and wooden floors of the ancient home. The windowpanes shook as dust floated and swirled through the air, finally freed from their previous resting-place. The tiny flecks of gold, illuminated by lightning, slowly came to rest once more, glowing like pixie dust on the chipped wardrobe and the assortment of rusted chests and crates strewn across the dirty floor. The sun was bright in a cloudless sky, the birds were chirping. The lush green of the forest sparkled from the dew settled on the foliage from the night before. Leo felt like he would throw up any minute.
